Three books to consider....

Bounce by Matthew Syed
...Think you might have a Mozart, Federer, Picasso, Beckham on your hands?.........Mr. Syed shows that not genetics but 10,000 hours of practice with dedication and heart usually brings out the genius in a young protege. It is an interesting book with lots of studies cited about our basic competitive natures and human behavior. He shatters some myths long held about mediocrity, talent, performance and the mind. Really interesting!

The Reluctant Spy by John Kiriakou
Mr. Kiriakou is a former CIA Agent involved in the front lines of the mid-east war on terror. It is a fast read and one unable to be put down!! The chapter he describes being in CIA headquarters the morning of 9/11 is amazing~~He was on the raid in Pakistan when they caught Abu Zubaydah along with a raid on the Taliban embassy and al-Qaeda safe houses in Pakistan. I'm a little bit of a political junkie and loved this book!

Joseph Smith, Rough Stone Rolling by Richard L. Bushman
Finally finished this 560 pg "not a fast read". It is more of what the culture was during the Prophet's life and the start of Mormonism. It is a good biography of Joseph, learned some things about that time in America which I had never known before.
